Superman

These photos made me think of getting started; at least my adrenaline anyway. These shots were taken in High Speed (6fps) showing off the speed and performance of the Canon 40D for sports photography. However, I found myself very challenged with the lighting in this arena, causing these images to be dark and sometimes out of focus.

Little One

This is my Niece, and she is Getting Started; at least in life. This photo Taken in her breakfast nook is under daylight conditions. I like how fast the light falls off in towards the top left corner. I also was using a large aperture to acquire a soft focus as well as to provide some warmth to cold winter day.

ISO: 320
Exposure: 1/80 sec
Aperture: f/4.5
